Leadership can be exhilarating. It can also be lonely.
Executive coaching is not about fixing you.
It is a conversation that helps you see more clearly.
Sometimes that means untangling a difficult decision. Sometimes it means exploring a new role, leading through change or rediscovering confidence after a challenging period. Often, it means stepping back from the noise long enough to recognise what matters most.
I won’t tell you what to do.
Instead, I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective and create the conditions for your own best thinking to emerge.
The answers are rarely found by thinking harder. More often, they are found by thinking differently.

Working together
Every coaching relationship begins with a conversation.
We’ll explore what’s on your mind, what you’re hoping to achieve and whether we’re the right fit for one another.
If we decide to work together, sessions are tailored to your needs and your context. There is no rigid formula or prescribed agenda. Our conversations are confidential, thoughtful and practical, creating space for reflection as well as meaningful action.
Coaching can take place online or in person, and most clients choose to meet monthly over several months, allowing time for ideas to develop and become embedded in practice.

The name Stone & LIght reflects two qualities I believe every leader needs.
Stone represents steadiness. The ability to remain grounded when circumstances are uncertain, relationships are complex and decisions carry real consequence.
Light represents perspective. The clarity that comes from stepping back, seeing differently and finding a way forward that aligns with your values.
Leadership requires both.
Not certainty.
Not perfection.
But the steadiness to stand firm, and the perspective to move wisely.
About Julie
For more than twenty years I’ve worked with and alongside senior leaders in one of the world’s leading universities, leading admissions through periods of growth, transformation and significant change.
I’ve experienced the realities of executive leadership, balancing competing prioirites, making difficult decisions, supporting teams through uncertainty and carrying responsibility that cannot always be shared.
Alongside my leadership career, I trained as an executive coach through Henley Business School because I became increasingly convinced that leaders deserve dedicated space to think.
My coaching is shaped not only by professional experience and formal training, but by life itself. It has taught me that clarity often emerges when we slow down, become curious and create room for honest conversation.
My role is not to provide the answers.
It is to help you discover your own.
